Benefit for Pleasanton Museum on Main

    Museum on Main Street Benefit

I  was one of the volunteer artists for the "Paint the Town" event. I painted from 9 am to 3 pm and then delivered the painting to Pleasanton's historical museum, "Museum on Main" where it was auctioned that same afternoon. I chose to paint The Century House, a beautiful historic house and grounds that can be rented for special events.

Hanukkah Menorah Project

Nancy proposed a fused glass project for the Sisterhood of Congregation Shir Ami. She led the project from design to completion. The Menorah was created by the Sisterhood women using Aran's Art Studio in Castro Valley. It was later dedicated in Shir Ami's sanctuary on the first night of Hanukkah, December 11, 2009. The Menorah currently hangs in a front window of the synagogue.
